Zombie Hordes [SP15]

Hello guys, all of you most probably have already done or tried doing the new Halloween dungeon for all the rest that haven't tried yet i will explain what you need & how hard it is !

Yes I know its says it's a Lv. 15 sp, but no it's much easier than it looks.

Floors 1 to 17 are the same as the floors of any Lv. 5 sp out there, normal chars are more than enough for those.

Floor 18 / 19 / 20 contain boss legends.
I will explain about these floors alone below.

Floor 18:

On floor 18 you will face Valentine holding 80k Zombie Archers.

If you do not have a 55 / 60 ab. legend i recommend using a reducer first for safety depending on your legend or armour you might need it or not to no loss the floor.

Floor 19:

On floor 19 you will face Bub holding 100k Zombie Archers.

Exact same thing as you do in floor 18 but this time your opponent is carrying 20k extra archers.

Floor 20:

On floor 20 you will face Ash holding 60k Zombie Chars.

If you do not have a 55 / 60 ab. legend i recommend using reducers first so as not to loose some of your elite+ chars.

Looks like Edu is talking about the new dungeons ? They will randomly appear through the map everyday at different location & they are timelockable like all other sps.

It has also been announced in-game, through green spam that we will be able to do Zombie Troops even after the event !

Halloween Info. [Day 4]

Hello everyone, for the moment all we got from the WoL Team this far today is the choice of path which is the following...

Even in the darkness, your very well trained archers and brilliant tactics manage to dispatch the zombie army. In the distance, you can see the shapeless figures run away. Chasing rapidly after them, you come into a private alcove at the back of the skull cave where you find a caged monkey. 

“Save me!” - Shocked at the fact this monkey is speaking, you immediately free Bub. 

“Thank you for saving me from the cage! We need to stop this zombie army from taking over – as much as I hate it, we need to ask help from either the Mad Scientist Ash or the Voodoo Priestess Valentine”

Who will you go after – Ash or Valentine?

Hello everyone, Sorry for the late post but here's today's info. !

Today on Facebook the proposed paths were:

Day 3, Halloween adventure - As your army marches, you discover a cavern shaped like a skull and glowing a very unnatural green. Cautiously, you enter the cavern but are suddenly accosted by Zombies! 
As your archers ready their bows, you notice in the back some very strange movements. 
Who are you striking - the Zombies or the Shadowy Figures?

While we are all waiting for the Halloween event, i thought i'd get a nice little treat for you guys. As many of you know, three people who won first place in rank, FST, and GIL donations got to design a custom legend to be implemented into the game. Recently, those three got the stats to their legends.

Monk: Won by CampbellMC form Black Dragon, winner of the GIL category
Legend Name: Sun Wukong
Title: Monkey King
Class: Monk
Gender: Male
Stats: Similar to Fuxi
Artifact Name: Gold Banded Staff
Effect:  Can only be used on an Ascended legend. Using during battle nullifies the effects of enemy Artifacts and reduces the number of enemy troops by 30%

Effect: Increases Marching Speed by 400%, Mag by 410 and Soldier Defense by 30%

New artifact named "Chained Sword".

Chained Sword can be equipped by any legend above level 50.

This artifact will be available once the update is live.

The item will be obtainable via in-game drops (exact method not revealed).

Comes from an email directly form Edu intended for this site. He has not told me the exact effect, but my guess is that we will know sometime before the release of the event.

Hello guys as I already showed on my post yesterday, Mod Edu will be leaking some info. about out new update here & there !

Here's What i got for you guys today ...


" Brains are a required currency for our Halloween Content "

All of you most probably saw this message on your servers green spam...

Nothing sure yet but i believe that "brains" will be an item similar to OCs & will drop in SPs , they will be used to convert troops into zombie troops that have been confirmed by Mod Edu (Zombie Troops).

What do you think ?



The Next piece of info. that the WoL team gave was:

Okay so we know that one of the items for the story-line tasks will be "Cursed Bones" maybe to for a skeleton legend ? maybe for some Cursed Bone Armour ?

All this seems very interesting hopefully we will get more info. soon !

On the War of Legends twitter feed (And in the forums) Edu posted another picture regarding the Halloween event.





"Volatile Elixir, exclusive artifact - Effect: Nullifier, Increaces allied troops by 30%"


This seems to confirm the rumor that we will have an exclusive Halloween legend. The nature of the artifact suggests that it could be a sort of alchemist or mage perhaps? What do you think it is? Leave a comment with a guess!

Today's choice on which path you want to use is :

Jiang Ziya has informed you of the capture of the legendary monkey Bub, one of the greatest warriors in the kingdom.

Hello Everyone,

Mod's released some info about the event ! Here's what we got..

It's coming... 

You can feel it in the air. The leaves are turning to gold as the world descends into madness. Halloween is coming and it will leave a permanent mark on War of Legends as we know it today. 

If you want to find out more about what's coming up, here's what we got in store for you: 

• "Choose your Own Adventure" - Every day on Facebook, you'll be able to vote on where you'd next like to take your adventure - the most popular path will be chosen. As the days pass, you'll be introduced to some of the new characters along some old and familiar faces as you attempt to combat the zombie threat. The full adventure will be available to run-through in the forums shortly after the update. 

• There will be a daily screenshot on our Twitter feed of the new update, along with random tidbits about the upcoming content. 

• Some random information will also be given in the forums from time to time. 

• From time to time, you might receive a disturbing message while in-game. This is all part of the fun .

We are also working on a few extra surprises and places to find information as we head towards the update. Stay tuned!

Yes Zombie Troops are the new troops that were announced for the event, about their stats nothing revealed yet now hope to get more info on this soon !



You can expect to find these troops in the new dungeon
and maybe even make them yourself ? Token Drops ?

Apparently the dungeon can be done with a seer but expect to find some boss legends in there...




There is strong evidence that the troops & dungeon implement will be permanent but some items or new legends will only be obtainable during the event.

Halloween Event ?

Many of you are wondering when will the event be released and what is it all about so i'll be giving you all the info i could find !

First of all this event is specific to our version & will not be the same as cwol's event.

Second of all Lv.320 legends have existed in private servers for quite some time now and are surely not part of this update.

Ancient Warrior spirit are not related to the event as they are supposed to give Elite+ troops through tasks and have existed for quite some time now while the new troops that have been announced are not in game yet and will be introduced with the event.

And now for the only Confirmed part is what the new dungeon [similar to bm or sp ?] will look like, check the pic below.

The dungeon will be accessible by everyone, but the stronger you are the farther you can go i suppose ...

If I am able to get any extra info. I will post it as soon as I can !

Smithing Guide

Hello,

Aiming to also create guides for smaller players or new players i decided to make a series of guides for beginners starting with this smithing guide !

Once you get armour to specific level its stats will increase an you will unlock a slot in which  you can add gems to make your legend stronger !

• Level 4 --> Emerald Slot

• Level 6 --> Sapphire Slot

• Level 10 --> Ruby Slot

To start off with you need to have a "Smithy" building in your city to smith you equipment, the higher its level the higher the chance of success is.

Next you have to click on the hammer button seen in the picture above^ to access the smithing interface.

Items You Need for Smithing:

  Redstone: Increases success rate on armour of all levels.

  Bluestone: Increases success rate on armour of levels 1 to 4.

  Ore Rune: Upon failure equipment drops to level 0. If Ore Rune is used it only drops by 1 level. 

  Metal Rune: Upon failure equipment level 8+ will disappear  If Metal Rune is used the equipment will go back to level 0 instead.

  Casting Rune: By using a casting rune you can ensure your equipment will not disappear or loose any level upon failure.

If you are on an old server you will be able to buy redstones off other players for very cheap.

If you are on a new server farming floors 8 to 12 of SP5 will yield mana stones which you can exchange for redstones in the practice tasks.

0 --> 1 :  1 Redstone or 2 Bluestones

1 --> 2 :  1 Redstone or 5 Bluestones

2 --> 3:   1 Redstone

3 --> 4:   1 Redstone & 1 Bluestone

4 --> 5:   6 Redstones

5 --> 6:   6 Redstones & Ore Rune

6 --> 7:   6 Redstones & Ore Rune

7 --> 8:   6 Redstones & Ore Rune or Casting Rune

8 --> 9:   6 Redstones & Metal Rune or Casting Rune

9 --> 10:  6 Redstones & Metal Rune or Casting Rune

If you fail at specific level just re-start it came sometimes become a very frustrating process but don't break or kill anything just keep on trying till you get to the level you want. 

Casting Runes help  allot  in this process so having them is very useful.

SP10 w/ Master Swords [Completed]

Believe or not i just completed the East Sp10, Pengxuan Refuge w/ Master Swordsmen suffering 0 losses !

SP10 w/ Master Swordsmen ?

Hello Everyone

Recently I have been playing around with SP 10 trying different setup and was able to clear it with both master archers & normal chars.

Looking for a new challenge I thought that i meant as well try it with Master Swords, yes useless swordsmen....

Comparison of Normal Chars & Master Swordsmen :

• As you can see there is some difference between the two, the chars having double the attack & extra life and defense.

• I completed SP10 using normal chars without using any defense boost apart from Motley Elixir & Mooncake for my legend.

• I will be able to make up the lack of defense with the extra boosts and the fact i can hold x2 the amount of swordsmen.

• The lack of attack will also give me more time to recover troops lost in first few rounds.

I will be uploading screenshots of my try within 24 hours & a video as soon as its done.

So stay tuned for the results of this strange test I'm doing !

BM 1 - 6 [Guide]

In our current version Buzhou Mountain (bm) contains 8 Floors, in this guide i will explain what you need and how to do Floors 1 to 5 which are the most basic.

BM can only be done from your capital city.

You can access BM by clicking on the statue in your city.

Doing BM with lv.300 legends (45ab.+)

Floor 1 : (2x5 Packs)

Normal chars will be enough in floor one, considering legends in floor 1 decrease less than 10% having 20 rebel will be enough for this floor, no need for artifacts.

Floor 2:  (4x5 Packs)

Normal chars will do it on too here, but considering the legends in floor 2 reduce you by 10%+ you should bring a Vital Rune or Devil Rope with you to avoid losses.

Floor 3: (6x5 Packs)

Floor 3 is pretty similar to floor 2 if you have a lv.300 perfected 45ab+ legend, but using a Drag. Spear (14% troop increaser + 20% attack increaser) is more effective.

Floor 4: (8x5 Packs)

Floor 4 used to be quite easy before one of our recent updates making it impossible to do with a regular lv.300 45ab+ legend. What you now need is Elite Troops and a Nullifier to go through floor 4 without losses. You can Obtain a Universal Nullifier through the destiny task called "Five-Elements".

Task Requirements:

• Broken Shield (200 Wol in shop)                                

• 20 Earth Spirit Beads

• 20 Water Spirit Beads

• 20 Earth Spirit Beads

• 20 Metal Spirit Beads

• 20 Wood Spirit Beads

Those beads drop frequently in SP5 flr. 12 +

Floor 5: (10x5 Packs)

If you are using a 45ab+ legend (With Nullifier) it is recommended to use XY swords so you do not suffer any losses.

If you are using a Kong Xuan with Yu armour or better & boosts activated you can do it using Elite+ Chars.

If you are using a 55ab+ legend you can do it easily with either kind of Elite+ Swords or Chars.

Floor 6:

What you need :

• 55 ab.+  Str. Legend that has already cleared BM5 (Kong can do it depending on armour)

• Lv.300 Warrior w/ Chiyoued Armou

• Elite Archers+ for your Warrior

• XY Swordsmen or Elite Chars+ for your Seer

• 3 Legends with 1 troop to catch Pigboy

Setup :

Okay so you have to send your seer with your XY swords or Elite+ chars as first legend that will clear all legends except pigboy (Admiral of the Celestial Army) which would one hit your legend.

This is why you take 3 legends with 1 troop each and your warrior holding Elite arch+ to one hit pigboy.

The trick is to use the legends with 1 troop until you meet Pigboy, when you do use your warrior to one hit him instead of your str. legend.

Stats of Elite Swordsmen & Halbediers are unknown so i didn't include them in the tables.

Where to get Elite Troops:

• Elder Tkn. 

• 800 Elite Chars / tkn. 

• Motley Chest + Compass 

• 1 Heaven Arch Tkn. + 1 Heaven Char Tkn. 

• 1000 Elite Archs / tkn. + 500 Elite Chars / tkn.

Where to get Di / DB / XY Troops:

Elite Troops can be converted into Di, DB or XY for free (No Resources or Special Item Needed)

The Following item "Order Conversion" which drops on high floors of SP5 is needed to convert every 1000 Normal Troops along with a specific number of resources depending on the troop type into either Di, DB or XY.

Once you have enough Troops, Resources, Order Conversion head to your garrison and Click on "Train Soldiers" as seen below.

Once you click "Train Soldiers" a new window will pop, over there you can choose which troops you want to convert into what type.

Each troop type requires a specific amount of resources to convert troops check the values below.

Halbediers: 400k of each resource including gold.

Swordsmen: 800k of each resource including gold.

Archers: 1.2 mil of each resource including gold.

Charioteers: 2 mil of each resources including gold.
